AiC Canada, in partnership with with Queens University and University of Toronto and sponsored by Shopify Dev Degree, is proud to offer the Award for Aspirations in Computing to students in all of Canada. 

The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) honours and recognizes grade 9 through 12 students who self-identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary for their computing-related achievements and interests, and encourages them to pursue their passions. Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education. The 2025 AiC High School Award application opened on September 1, 2025 and closes on October 28, 2025 at 8pm ET.

The 2025 AiC Collegiate Award application opened on September 1, 2025 and closes on November 18, 2025.
