Bio

As a freshman interested in double majoring in 6-3 (Computer Science & Engineering) and 15-3 (Finance), I’m excited to continue my journey as an entrepreneur and further the area of healthcare. I grew up in Boca Raton, FL and Coppell (Dallas), TX where I was immersed in a STEM based environment. My healthcare interests arrived from volunteering and interning at hospitals and working with special needs kids. I’ve developed a passion to help others live a better life. Additionally, I have years of research experience in the area of materials engineering and bioengineering. Specifically, I’ve worked with artificial muscle fibers and implantable brain probes. In the future, I hope to use AI and image recognition to create a disease diagnostics tool for early detection. Recently, I’ve been more involved with entrepreneurship. I co-founded an essay consulting startup, iDreamCollege, which provides the best priced and quality college application essay edits. I’m very involved with the women in STEM movement and am founder & CEO of IT Empowerment for Her, a non- profit organization that provides free STEM programs to middle schools girls. I am currently working on developing a healthcare based startup with my co-founder, who is a freshman at Wharton. I really enjoyed my experiences working two summer internships at Abbott in the Dallas diagnostics division. As a Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Operations/ Manufacturing Engineering intern, I conducted projects referring to subassembly process efficiency and a global remote manufacturing process for the new Alinity s blood screening machines. I’ve learned valuable professional skills by working with finance, engineering, business analytics, HR, and more. On campus, I hold leadership positions in Startlabs, SWE, and Women Business Leaders. Aside from my technical interests, I enjoy playing beach volleyball and building tech with my younger brother. I’m very excited to meet new entrepreneurs and learn about how their passions and inspirations drove them towards new ventures. Not only do I hope to gain valuable expertise, but I will also share my personal experiences in creating my own startup and passions.
