KeeAnia Kinkacha is a junior Information Technology student from Newport News, Virginia. She currently attends North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she holds positions on several executive boards, including Vice President of the Epsilon Pi Tau Technology Honor Society and Treasurer for Women in Science and Technology. She is also the 2019-2020 campus representative for the National Center for Women in Technology, and sits on the leadership board for Rewriting the Code, Durham region. KeeAnia has the privilege of working for the Apple College Program, under the Tier 1 IOS Phone support team. She has recently accepted a scholarship award from the Department of Defense (DOD) Science, Mathematics & Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship Program. In her spare time, KeeAnia enjoys listening to music, dancing, eating, and participating in church activities. After graduation, KeeAnia aspires to secure a position as a software engineer, then move into project management. Her long-term dream is to open a non-profit organization that will benefit young black and brown children. It would focus on providing opportunities to gain exposure and experiences while promoting STEM programs and stressing the importance of self-worth, as well as the importance of HBCUs, at an early age.
