Rachel F.

This is Rachel, a senior at Westminster High School, interested in pursuing a career in computer science, specifically CyberSecurity or Data Science. With college right around the corner, she hopes to major in computer science and possibly double major in math. To date, some of her biggest accomplishments include a software engineering internship, designing an accessible Hepatitis-B diagnostic tool, placing top 10% nationally in a CyberSecurity Competition, attaining 2nd place at a UCLA nanoscience SharkTank-style competition, and leading her FIRST Robotics team, the CyberLions. She's extremely passionate about spreading her love for computer science in her community and advocating for STEM through teaching workshops at local middle schools and her high school. In her free time, she enjoys hiking at the local wetlands, thrifting, playing badminton with her classmates, and training her bird with all types of tricks!
