Krystal M.

Krystal is a third year PhD student who is researching isogeny-based cryptography, a particular type of post-quantum safe cryptography that uses elliptic curves and random graphs. In previous years, she has also written and published papers in Privacy, Fairness and Machine Learning research. Her greatest technical achievement to date has been in leading and mentoring others, and in encouraging persons like herself to pursue graduate degrees and research opportunities too. In future years, she would love to continue working on isogeny-based cryptography in a research position in Academia, at the intersection of Pure Mathematics and Computer Science.
