
Isabel A.
Isabel Amaya is a 2nd generation Mexican/El Salvadoran American born and raised in Washington State. They are currently a senior at Inglemoor high school but have committed to the University of Washington, selected for direct admission into Informatics, Interdisciplinary Honors and one of twenty NASA Space Grant Scholar for the University. They are currently working as User Experience Designer at Dr. Si's Data Analysis & Intelligent Systems (DIAS) research group at University of Washington Bothell, playing a critical role in the development of the iCare project.
This summer Isabel will go on to compete at the National Technology Student Association Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. After the competition she will be starting their internship with Bank of America for the Student Leaders program, as one of three hundred selected nationally for the program. Isabel goal post undergrad is to obtain a MBA and go into a career in Product Management.
