Huda S.

Huda is a passionate programmer who's main goal is to provide opportunities to young girls like her younger-self. In a male-dominated and restrictive community, Huda paved her way through her game "Synthoria." Since elementary school, Huda has been someone who played video games to learn more about unique skills such as problem-solving and new languages. As an inspiration, these factors allowed her to create her first ever video game "Synthoria" which teaches middle schoolers about AI and Machine Learning in an accessible and engaging manner as well as bring light to important female figures in the world of Computer Science. In specific, Huda particularly enjoys front-end developing websites, programming scripts for her game, and competing in Hackathons for social change. Moving forward, Huda would like to continue developing more educational games such as "Synthoria" and reach a wider audience. She plans to major in Computer Science at college, making connections with other passionate women like her and collaborating on the latest innovations of Artificial Intelligence, learning about their effects on society, and how they can be optimized to prioritize ethics.
