David holds an M.Ed. in secondary education, an M.Ed. in school administration, and a B.S. in medical physics. He started teaching in Southeast Oklahoma in 2013. He began teaching at Atoka Public Schools in 2019. He teaches Computer Science Principles, Aviation, Chemistry, Physics, middle school STEM, and Java programming. He began learning how to code as part of OU's Codesooner program. He is passionate about providing STEM opportunities to all students of southeast Oklahoma. He is a TSA chapter advisor and robotics coach. The TSA chapter participates in coding contests, 107 drone licensure and safety, video game design projects, StellarXplorers, and robotics. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and son. His hobbies include designing escape rooms, breadboarding, making furniture, game design, playing RPG's, and flying drones.
