Amy has been teaching Math and Computer Science for the past 26 years. She started her career teaching computer science at Washington High School in Milwaukee, WI. After 10 years she moved to Wauwatosa West and has been working to build a computer science program in the district that allows access to computer science for all students. Amy is committed to increasing access and providing equitable curriculum to students throughout the state. She has been a facilitator for Exploring Computer Science and AP Computer Science Principles professional development programs since 2017. She is actively involved in supporting Wisconsin CS teachers by serving as the WI Dairyland CSTA chapter co-president and has served as an AP reader for the College Board for AP Computer Science Principles.
