APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR 2019/2020. Thank you to all who applied.
ACM-W is excited to partner with Queens University to offer the Award for Aspirations in Computing to students in Canada.
The Award for AiC honors 9th-12th grade students who self-identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary for their computing-related achievements and interests, and encourages them to pursue their passions. Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by their computing experience, computing-related activities, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education.
Award winners will be invited to attend the Canadian Celebration of Women in Computing Conference (CAN-CWIC 2019) on November 9, 2019 at the International Center in Mississauga, Ontario. Winners will be recognized and presented with an award at CAN-CWIC. (Winners will be responsible for their own travel to the conference. If you are unable to attend the conference, your award will be mailed to you and you will be recognized as a winner on our website.)
Eligibility for Canadian Applicants
