2024 NCWIT Aspirations Award Ceremony for the Middle and East Tennessee Affiliate
Date & Time: Saturday, April 6, 2024 Time: 10 am - 2 pm CDT
Location: Bruner Hall, Tennessee Technological University - Cookeville, TN
Ceremony Agenda:
- 10 a.m. Optional coding class (EarSketch)
- 10:45 a.m. Check-in
- 11 a.m. Fun activities (make a circuit board keychain, unplugged cyber activities, virtual dungeon master demo)
- 12 noon Awards ceremony with invited speakers
- 1:20 p.m. Italian lunch buffet
- 2 p.m. Optional campus tour
The Department of Computer Science at Tennessee Tech University will host the Middle and East Tennessee Aspirations in Computing Awards Ceremony on April 6th. Award recipients have been selected for their aptitude and interest in IT and computing, solid leadership ability, good academic history, and plans for post-secondary education. Each qualified awardee receives a medal, certificate, and a variety of swag. National winners and honorable mention receive a trophy.
