Oklahoma Affiliate

The Oklahoma affiliate of the National Center for Women & Information Technology hosted its 2023 Aspirations in Computing Awards ceremony on Saturday, April 29 at the Donald Betz STEM Center on the University of Central Oklahoma campus in partnership with the UCO College of Mathematics and Science. Seven high school award recipients were recognized for their aptitude and interest in IT and computing, solid leadership ability, good academic history, and plans for post-secondary education. One educator was honored for their advocacy and action toward inclusivity in computing and technology. 

The 2024 Oklahoma affiliate awardees have been selected and will be recognized at a series of local awards ceremonies and at the 2024 OKWIT spring retreat! Congratulations to them all!
