The 2026 NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Award Application period opened Sept. 1!


This award celebrates and recognizes students’ aspirations in technology at every level and welcomes students with all types of computing and tech-related interests to apply. We believe in the life-changing power of recognition!

Additionally, this award program provides:

·         Distinction and merit

·         Access to resources and opportunities

·         A community of connections

·         Support and encouragement

All AiC community members are eligible to apply. To register for the community, visit the  Aspiration in Computing Community, which is a group of over 30,000 like-minded high school, college and early career individuals interested in a variety of computing and tech-related fields.

What do you need to know?

·         Join the Aspirations in Computing Community

·         Create your Aspirations.org login and password, then you’re ready to begin the application process.

·         The high school application period closes on October 28 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

·         Educators - Send encouragement to prospective applicants using The Aspirations in Computing Encouragement Form. Using this form will help the AiC team to email them directly and let them know you think they should apply.

·         This National and Regional Award program is open to individuals in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, all U.S. overseas military bases, and Canada.
