Marisa S.

Marisa is a computer science teacher at The Young Women's Leadership School of the Bronx. She feels passionately about educating young woman, helping them enter the world of STEM, and getting them to start critiquing the technological innovations that exist around them. Marisa was featured in two New York Times articles and an episode of NPR’s Here & Now podcast. As a self taught computer science enthusiast, Marisa works hard to ensure her students are excited and confident in the subject.
