Grace G.

Grace Guan is a PhD student in Management Science and Engineering and NSF fellow at Stanford University. She graduated with highest honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Princeton University, where she minored in Statistics and Machine Learning and Global Health Policy. Previously, she interned at Columbia Business School, DeepMind Health, and Google. She has presented at and served as a reviewer for the Machine Learning for Healthcare Conference. Her research focuses on the development of applied computer science models, including machine learning models, to support health policy decisions. Her recent work has focused on early detection of COVID-19 outbreak regions based on human mobility data and prediction of patient demand at an out-patient clinic in hopes of reducing patient wait time.
