Emily, a dedicated science researcher, has worked towards inserting herself in the medical field through internships such as the CHOC MI4 Internship and KEMP Nanomaterials Internship at California State University, Long Beach. Some of her greatest awards stem from her passion for innovation and research such as winning National Honorable Mention for the oldest research competition in the country, ExploraVision as well as being a 2-year winner in the Orange County Science and Engineering Fair. Looking to the future, Emily aspires to become a biomedical engineer and hopes to study this in college. By continuing to challenge herself in these areas, she hopes to make a positive impact on people's lives through contributions to the advancement of technology and healthcare.
