Christine C.

Christine feels like she found where she is meant to be. After getting involved with a Research Experience Undergraduate program through the Center of Excellence for Women in Technology at Indiana University, she has been involved with three subsequent research/internship opportunities. Those three opportunities were all with the same team, the National Center for Genome Analysis Support team out of the Cyber-Infrastructure building at Indiana University. Through these amazing opportunities, she has also been able to create research posters that were submitted and accepted to various national science conferences such as the American Society for Microbiology conference in 2020. She is majoring in Informatics with a minor in Biology and fully intends to continue her academic career in the future to further her career and experience in the field of bioinformatics.
