Alyshia B.

Alyshia Bustos is a Ph.D. graduate student in the Computer Science Department University of New Mexico (UNM). She is the lead graduate student on the Interactive Mural project for Dr. Leah Buechley and is working on new technology to teach diverse youth computer science. She was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She has worked in the technical field for four years as a software developer. Her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree are in Computer Science which she received from UNM. Her goal in life is to help contribute to the community. She is also a President of two student organizations at UNM, Women in Computing and the Computer Science Graduate Student Association. When she is not working her favorite hobbies are snowboarding and skydiving!
