Computer Science Educator | Vernon Hills High School (2009–Present) Currently teaching AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles, iOS App Development, and Data Structures (in partnership with IIT). Over 15 years, I have increased CS enrollment from 11 to 280 students, fostering a culture of innovation and inclusion. As President of XPerience Coding (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit), AP Mentor for CS A & P, and a member of the CSTA National Chapter Leader Committee (2023–24), I have taken on numerous leadership roles. My work has been recognized with awards such as the CSTA CS Teaching Excellence Award (2022, Regional Winner 2021), NCWIT Affiliate Educator Honorable Mention (2022), and the Chicago Wolves Best STEM Teacher of the Year (2020). I have also contributed to CS education as a Girls Who Code Summer Instructor, a member of the AP WE Service Leadership Committee, and a presenter at national conferences.
