Yun’s particular passion lies in the areas of computer graphics and 3D animation. She has taught herself processing, and also learned more about animation through her participation on her school’s robotics team. She is co-president of Lynbrook FIRST Robotics Team (Team 846) and last year led them to a win at the national level and to their submission being played before every FIRST robotics competition in the 2011 season. Yun is also the Vice President of Lynbrook Animated, a club that aims to teach members different forms of animation. Yun was part of the founding group of officers who are in charge of both traditional 2D animation and 3D animation created in 3DsMax. Yun is also part of the Santa Clara County Girls Advisory Team, a group created by the Office of Women Policy (OWP), which aims to improve the status of women in the Santa Clara County. Yun has applied early decision to the Digital Media Design program at the University of Pennsylvania, where she hopes to major in digital media or computer graphics.
