Yashwee is a freshman at the Albert Dorman Honors College at NJIT. She is the co-founder and director of hackMCST and founded her school's computer science club. Yashwee's passion for computer science grew tremendously during her freshman year. She became interested in creating medical apps at hackathons. One of her proudest accomplishments has been reLeaf: Personal Concussion Tester. She tries to look for ways to make existing products simpler and more accurate. Currently, Yashwee is an intern at Ionweather, a start-up company where she worked to build an ecommerce website. Outside of her school she is pursuing a research project as part of the 2018 Governor's STEM Scholars. She is working on Big Data and Deep Vision under renowned Professor Rebecca Mercuri along with her team. While Yashwee isn't busy coding, she aspires to make an impact in her community by spreading her love for computer science to other girls!
