A sophomore at West Windsor Plainsboro High School South, Vonesha is an artist and an avid robot competitor. Her dedication and experience earned her leadership role in the school Robotics team 1923, The MidKnight Inventors. As the director of outreach, she is actively working to promote FIRST. Esha is a STEM advocate with great involvement in Girl Scouts. She has explored a wide range of interests that has helped her to follow her passion and build her way up from Bronze to Silver and now towards the Gold Award. Taekwondo is one of her favorite activities, she achieved a first degree black belt and is currently training towards a second degree black belt. She is continuing her interest in martial arts at school as a Junior Varsity Epee Fencer. Being selected as the Editor-In-Chief of the school yearbook allows her to put her passion in art and computers together. She intends to take her interest in technology to a new level in future jobs and service projects, focusing on doing what she loves, AI. In her free time you will find her reading a book or doodling. She likes kiwi, travelling with family and watching horror movies with friends. Both FIRST and GS has given her a great platform to help girls connect the dots between STEM and changing the world and this got her the President’s Volunteer Service Silver and Gold Awards. The most rewarding part of all her projects was and still is interacting with children. She hopes that her initiative will inspire other girls to discover their passions to bring a positive impact.
