Mrs. Mazur received her masters in Academic Leadership in pursuit of opening a STEM school facility within her current organization. A STEM facility would seamlessly provide pathways to career development in technical fields while providing rigorous core classes. Prior to this pursuit, Mrs. Mazur received her masters in math education from Alliant International University subsequent to achieving her business management bachelors from San Diego State University. She holds clear California single subject math and introductory business credentials. Education excites Mrs. Mazur who believes that Computer-based work is the present and future of employment. After teaching math for 15 years, she began teaching Computer Science to provide introductory pre-engineering courses in high school. Not satisfied with the available courses, Mrs. Mazur wrote additional programming courses using Python; Intro to Programming, Project Development, and Game Design. Currently Mrs. Mazur teaches Computer Science, Programming and Math III at Classical Academy High School’s Woodward Avenue campus. Mrs. Mazur advises students taking AP Computer Science, Robotics and Programming; she also mentors the CAOS Robotics team which she founded in 2018 at the request of three sophomore girls.
