Tara Johanneson has been teaching for the Bishop O'Gorman Catholic Schools for 13 years. She is currently the Technology Integrationist for eight schools (K-12) in the system, as well as, the 1:1 Chromebook Coordinator and Computer Science teacher at O'Gorman High School. Tara earned her Bachelor's of Science in Business Education and Associate's Degree in Business Management from Dakota State University. She also has endorsements in K-12 Technology Education, Technology Integration, and Technology Coordination. In 2015, Tara became a Google for Education Certified Trainer followed by a Google Certified Administrator in 2016. Tara is the advisor for O'Gorman's Gaming Club, Future Business Leader's of America chapter, eSports team, and Robotics. In her free time, Tara is an active volunteer for the Helpline Center's Step Forward to Prevent Suicide Walk Committee & Survivors of Suicide Loss Advisory Committee, the manager for Girl Scouts - Outer Limits area, Girl Scout Troop Leader for Troop 40005, and the founder and organizer of the Tea Easter 'Egg'stravaganza. Tara currently serves on the Tea Area School Board, secretary for the South Dakota Society for Technology in Education, and is a board member for the South Dakota Association of Middle-Level Education.
