Sam is a sophomore attending Skyline High School. She is passionate about computer science and is a freelance developer, working with organizations to create websites and other applications. In her free time, she enjoys attending hackathons and has won awards for her projects. She also is fundraising manager and a build lead on her school’s FIRST Robotics Team, the Skyline Spartabots. In addition to coding, Sam enjoys being active in her community and is co-chair of her community’s youth board where she plans events to address issues prevalent to teens today. She has also interned on a political campaign and was named a Washington Campaign Heroine. For her work in the community, she recently received the 2018 Presidential Gold Award for Volunteer Service.
