Neda Blackburn is a Digital Learning Specialist and Computer Science Teacher in the Upper School of Garrison Forest School, an all-girls school. Her passion is to encourage more females towards computer science and engage them in computational thinking. Neda’s background is in both K-12 and collegiate educational settings, as well as academic research on computer science education. Her dissertation work has been recently published in a chapter of the book, Culture, Technology, and Learning: Research and Practice. She holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from George Mason University.
