Megan is a motivated senior at Conard High School who has taken many computer science courses throughout her three years in high school (enrolled in AP Computer Science A and Game and Web Design). She has always achieved an A or above and is very dedicated to her study. She is a dedicated member of the Technology Student Association (TSA) and has won multiple state awards in Video Game Design, Technology Bowl, Digital Video Production, and Prepared Presentation. She has also attended the 2015 National TSA conference in Dallas, Texas, and represents Connecticut TSA’s State Treasurer for the 2018-2019 academic year. She is on the Girls Advisory Board for the National Girls Collaborative Project and has taken part in the Mobile Apps for Hartford Internship Program. She is developing The Hidden Workforce, an app that can help people with autism find employment in the Hartford Area. During her free time, she likes to read, hike, and play sports such as soccer and tennis. She wants to major in computer science (masters if she can financially do so). Not only does she want to be a software developer, but she also wants to use her skills to improve the lives of others and to make the world a better place.
