Maryn is currently a high school sophomore in the Engineering Academy at Elkins High School. She enjoys biomedical engineering and is interested in learning more about combining prosthetics and robotics. She also enjoys learning about genetic engineering. She has completed and enjoyed three years of Engineering classes where she has learned 3D modeling with AutoCAD, beginners civil engineering, engineering principles, robotics, beginners electrical engineering, computer coding, JAVA, RobotC, and much more. She also has taken computer science classes and attended game programming camps. She likes to participate in inventathon and Code Wars whenever she can and she wants to pursue a career in robotic engineering. She especially would like to learn more about how robots can be used in the biomedical field involving advanced prostheses to make life easier for patients with prosthetics.
