Kuri DiFede is a Computer Science teacher and robotics coach at Mineola High School. She currently teaches college level classes to high school students in a partnership with Queensborough Community College. In this program, her students graduate high school with 30 college credits. She also co-coaches her schools FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Robotics Competition teams, most recently winning the Rookie All-Star Award that qualified the team for the National Championship. In the past, she has coached FIRST Lego League and RoboCup Jr. Soccer teams. She has also worked as an educational technologist. This is her 7th year working in K-12 education. Her undergrad degree is in Physics from the University of Richmond, and she has a Masters in Computer Science from NYU.
