Kristina has been involved in computer science since her freshman year of high school when she was introduced to the Center for Information Technology (CIT). Through this program she was given the opportunity to create her own websites using Dreamweaver, binary conversion, and various Java programs, as well as feed her passion for computing. Eventually, she was fortunate enough to be the project manager for CIT’s annual non-profit project in which she and her group worked with a local non-profit to create a webpage for the non-profit. Kristina felt very proud and accomplished after completing this task. She really enjoys the problem solving and creative aspects of web design and is quite confident that her future will involve computing in some way.
