Keshvi had an interest in STEM from a young age. Her interest in STEM peaked when her father first taught her how to create a computer program in Python. Keshvi has been a mentor at Hour of Code events for four years and is a member of Girls Who Code and the Society of Women Engineers. She was a 2018 Winner for the Western Missouri and Kansas Affiliate Award for Aspirations in Computing from NCWIT. She has been a programmer on her high school's robotics team for four years and took up the role of head programmer this year. Keshvi is also involved in Medical Explorers and became an ambassador for her post last year. She will major in biomedical engineering in college, and she also plans to minor in computer science. In the future, Keshvi wants to conduct research in neuroengineering. Her dream is to one day specialize in developing early detection technologies for neurodegenerative diseases. Keshvi loves the idea of someday combining her love of neuroscience and her love of computer science in her work. Ideally, Keshvi would like to apply her knowledge of computer programming to her research to improve the quality of people's lives.
