Jocelyn is an industrious student, dedicated gymnast, and successful leader. She is currently taking AP Computer Science A and hopes to major in computer science in college which will help on her path to becoming a UI-UX Designer. Inspired by her older brother who majors in computer science, Jocelyn took her first computer programming class as a sophomore. This is when her interest in coding truly sparked. Now, she is planning a coding camp to introduce underserved middle school girls to computer science. Jocelyn hopes this camp will influence the participants to consider coding as a career. Jocelyn also is the founder and current president of the IKE Care Club, a volunteering organization focused on helping the community and beyond. Her club has had much success in the past two years gaining a total of 103 members, who volunteer at monthly events that support the United Nation's seventeen sustainable development goals.
