Isha Chakraborty is a programmer, entrepreneur, writer, as well as a lifelong student looking to change the world through technology. She is currently a junior at Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, CA. Her experience in these fields draws from her Bioinformatics internship at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) where she worked with various Machine Learning packages using Python; her time as a Public Relations Chair for Cure Cancer Cafe, a night to raise funds and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma foundation; her involvement with Technovation, an organization designed to encourage girls to join STEM fields and to create applications to solve global problems; as well as the Future Engineers Camp in which she develops business strategies while collaborating with a team to run the robotics and programming camp itself. She is also a part of the FRC Team 115, or MVRT, where she works in both the electrical division for the autonomous programming and wiring of the robot as well as the finance division, managing their $100,000 budget. As of now, she have published two books and have been featured in various magazines! She will be attending college to further her expertise in Computer Science. If given the opportunity, she would love to showcase her abilities and create a positive impact.
