Holly Hannon has been married to her husband Billy for 13 years. They have two amazing children, Connor and Colin. She was a professional chef for 5 years. During this time she discovered that education was her true calling. She returned to school receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Later she continued her education and earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, with a focus on educational technologies. She freelances as a grant writer and curriculum developer. She also holds a summer STEAM camp for elementary aged students interested in computers science. She is passionate about computer science education. In her district, Kiefer Public Schools, she founded and has grown a K-12th-grade robotics and computer science department. Utilizing the Junior Botball and Botball programs, as well as Raspberry Pi's, CAD programs, drones, and 3D printers. She trains teachers within her district on educational technologies and how to utilize them in the classroom. Additionally, she developed the curriculum for her schools Computer Science and AP Computer Science courses, which she currently teaches. She also mentors the high school Botball team for her district. She is inspired by watching young men and women discover new passions and work hard to achieve their goals, and is honored to have the opportunity to influence so many bright young women in her community. She strives to create lifelong learners and to foster a love of math and computer science in her students.
