Emily struck a love for computer science at a summer program at the United States Naval Academy. From there she took on AP Computer Science. That same year, she began a C++ programming class at a nearby college that trained students for the US Computing Olympiad. Emily continues to work on her skills in computer science, but this year she has been very busy with a new club she has started at her school. The club's name is Whitefish Bay Girls' Coding Club. It is a club geared towards middle school girls that have an interest in computer science. The club looks at both the STEM, as well as the business side of the field. Additionally, Emily loves working with robots and going to coding competitions around the area. Emily does a lot of things outside of school including lifeguarding, teaching swim lessons, tutoring, and babysitting. She also serves as Vice President for her local HOSA chapter, a medical club.
