Eileen Poling is thrilled to be recognized with the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Award for her third year. She loves being apart of a community that encourages women in STEM. Eileen is a junior that has a passion for STEM. She is the proud president of her school's Debate Team, Mu Alpha Theta program, Junior Class Student Government, and Students for Progress. She is a fierce competitor on the varsity Cross Country, Soccer and Track and Field teams at her school. Eileen received certification in several digital programs, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Autodesk Inventor. She currently manages her high school's website as a NAF internship. Last year, she competed in the annual VEX Robotics competition and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. She hopes to further her education in the fields of technology and public policy in her upcoming years. In college, she hopes to combine her knowledge of technology with her passion for progress to create a lasting impact on her community.
