Anna is currently a senior at Hunter College High School. She first developed her interests in programming after joining the BridgeUp: Brown Scholars program at the American Museum of Natural History, where she learned to code in Python and SQL. While applying these newly learned skills as a research intern for a theoretical astrophysics project, Anna took AP Computer Science to deepen her understanding of programming. After numerous personal projects, a summer internship at a tech startup, and a college CS course, she developed an interest in the intersection between business and technology. To pursue this, she is attending Carnegie Mellon University this fall to study Information Systems. There, she plans on doing research at a machine learning/artificial intelligence laboratory and getting involved in interesting business ventures.
