Anna is a sophomore at the Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh, PA. Anna was a finalist in Google's Made with Code and Snapchat’s #MyFutureMe Challenge and was recently named a National Honorable Mention in the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT) Aspirations in Computing Award. Anna is currently on the Girls of Steel Robotics team and serves as the Outreach Lead and Strategy Lead in addition to being a team programmer. Anna has founded three award-winning elementary school robotics teams in an effort to create a STEM pipeline that girls can follow in their schools starting in 3rd grade. Anna is also active in advocacy work. She has traveled to Washington, D.C. twice to meet with elected officials to advocate for STEM programs on Capitol Hill. She's met with Ivanka Trump to discuss the importance of increasing access to robotics programs in Pittsburgh, and was a featured speaker at the White House's Our Pledge To America's Workers Event, where she presented to President Trump, Ivanka Trump, and various cabinet members. She is currently serving as the CTO of Bubl Health, an app she is building to connect patients with shared medical conditions.
