Angie has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and over ten years experience working as a Software Engineer. Three years ago she joined the staff at Suncoast High School as part of their Computer Science magnet program, where she has taught several different programming courses: Introduction to Programming using Processing and Java; Object Oriented Programming, where she introduced students to the Android Development Kit and gave them the opportunity to experiment with Google Glass; and now she teaches 80+ students AP Computer Science A. Angie's goal is to encourage young women to consider Computer Science as a future career and show all students they will benefit greatly having a strong understanding of technology and software development skills. Angie promotes Computer Science as a creative career and tries to show her students that Computer Science is not just logic and math, but also one of few careers that can combine creativity with technology!
