Alicia is mostly interested in learning new programs of design and programming. For her first two years at the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology, Alicia participated in general engineering courses that allowed her to practice design, she used AutoCAD, Intentor, and Revit. Her sophomore year, Alicia won the academic excellence award for engineering. She was also selected as a peer tutor for this subject to help other sophomores that struggled with the curriculum. Alicia is a novice black belt in tae kwon do, volunteer at church, and plays the role of unofficial secretary in the Engineering Honor Society at her school. She has also taught a science class at her house during the summer and has tutored friends from another school.
