Afe Addeh is a first generation African American who, dispute being part of a minority, accomplished many achievements since she decided to explore computer science. For 3 years she has been part of her school's Cyber Patriot team and reached the top three in state competitions for the last two years in a row. She has also participated in the Congressional App challenge since 2014 and won 3rd place for her app Career Finder in 2017. In an effort to inspire other girls in her school in a minority to pursue their interest in STEM, in 2016 Afe started the first girl-prioritized club and the first computer programing club in her school: Girls Who Code. In college, she hopes to major in computer science with a minor in computer graphics/animation
