Carolyn is currently a senior at New Century Technology High School, participating in the Computer Science strand. Her passion for computer science began in 8th grade when she took a Website Design class. In the class, she learned HTML/CSS, and at the end of the year was awarded the “Most Outstanding Web Design Student”. This inspired her to go to New Century Technology High School, so she could take their coding and cyber security classes. As a Senior, Carolyn takes part in CyberPatriot, Computer Science Club, and is Battalion Executive Officer in Lee/NCT JROTC. She has won “Most Outstanding Computer Science Principles Student” in 9th grade, group Web Design ACTE Tech Far (1st regionally, 2nd state) in 9th, 10th and 11th, and won 3rd in the Cyber Security Test at FBLA State and went to FBLA Nationals in 10th grade. Carolyn has worked at Cyber Security and Robotics summer camps, and is currently working as a Web Developer at CyberProtex. She is currently can program in Python, C++, and JAVA. Carolyn enjoys programming and cyber security and hopes to use her skills to solve the problems of the modern world.
