Isabella is a junior at Breck School in Minneapolis, MN, where she has fully immersed herself in the STEM curriculum. The accomplishment she is most proud of is the graduate-level research she undertook at the University of Minnesota at the Minnesota Supercomputing Institute. There, she designed a novel drug candidate for HIV using molecular dynamics simulations that she ran on the Institute’s Mesabi supercomputer. In addition to her research, she participates on the school’s FIRST robotics team. After high school, she plans to attend college, majoring in biomedical engineering.
