Mary Kathryn loves designing everything on computers from MS Power Point presentations to scratch programming to make games. She especially enjoys digitally designing the monthly newsletter for her homeschool group. She also designed a web page for her homeschool group. Mary Kathryn enjoys technology classes at IT-ology and 100 Girls of Code. She loved the Carolina Master Scholars Computer Gaming Camp. Mary Kathryn is considering majoring in graphic design in college to further develop her technology skills. She enjoys being creative and has won 25 ribbons at the State Fair. Recently, she won first place for South Carolina grades 10-12 in the State Fish Art Contest. Mary Kathryn has been involved in many extracurricular activities including American Heritage Girls, Girl Scouts, IT-ology Cyber Saturdays, FPC Youth Chorus, Drama, National Honor Society, and Student Council. She has volunteered each year at Vacation Bible School and volunteered for six years at Richland Library. She is also in the Duke TIP program and was named a Carolina Junior Scholar. Mary Kathryn is an avid reader and has won many reading contests including Top Reader in the Lady Gamecocks Reading Contest.
