Kimberly Do is an International Baccalaureate diploma candidate at Strawberry Crest High School in Dover, Florida. A prospective computer science student, she invests her time in national and local computer science outreach. The Head Florida Coordinator and Director of Design of Everybody Code Now, a national computer science advocacy nonprofit, Kimberly has devoted over 300 service hours to youth computer science education and has organized and volunteered at local workshops at the Glazers Children’s Museum, Bruton Memorial Library, and MOSI. Kimberly has also volunteered for the national nonprofits coderGirls and ProjectCSGIRLS. Because of her strong passion for computer science, Kimberly was selected nationally as one of twenty-five students to attend Apple’s Engineering Technology Camp 2017 in Cupertino, California, chosen nationally as one of thirty students to receive Stanford University’s she++ #include Fellowship, and bedtowed the Generation Google Scholarship. An active member in her school, Kimberly also serves as president of her school’s National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta clubs and vice president of her school’s Science Competitors and Women in STEM clubs. She plans to major in computer science with a concentration in human-computer interaction with a minor in industrial design at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
