After graduating from the Information Technology prime at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology in Towson, Maryland, Lauren moved to Cleveland, Ohio to attend Case Western Reserve University as a Computer Science major. During her junior year, Lauren was accepted into the B.S./M.S. program, and was able to earn both her B.S. in Computer Science and her M.S. in Computing and Information Sciences in 4 years and a summer session. Additionally, Lauren gained experience with big data research from her thesis project. During her senior year, Lauren was accepted into the competitive Israel Tech Challenge program, where she was able to explore the tech scene in Israel and participate in a 36-hour hackathon with other young adults that have work experience with Twitter, Google, Microsoft, Dropbox, etc. During the summer between her junior and senior year, Lauren interned with Microsoft in Redmond, WA. At the end of the internship, she accepted a full time position, and started working in September 2014.
