Amy is an active member of the international nonprofit organization coderGirls. She has learned multiple languages of code and is also currently learning Python and HTML. She also used MITAppInventor to create an app, Collegiate, dedicated to helping students become more productive and efficient. Collegiate has many tools to help students keep track of the due dates of assignments, test dates, and also pictures of assignments. Other than coding, Amy led and organized a free chess camp this past summer with over 40 attendees. She not only took part in developing a chess club website with the purpose of advertising the camp, but also facilitated enrollments and organized camp activities. Amy also took AP Computer Science at school and got a 5 for AP test. She is going to study computer science and mathematics.
