Charlotte Buck, a senior at Middleton High School, became interested in computer science during her junior year through her AP Computer Science Principles course. Since then, she became involved in BadgerBOTS, a local FIRST FRC team. Through the friends she made there, she assisted in organizing Project Boolean, a student-run programming competition hosted in conjunction with the UW Madison Computer Science department. Charlotte has just begun assisting at Club CS, a bi-monthly coding class for middle school girls. She hopes to continue her work with programming and computer science in college while applying it to other fields.
