Mohini is a 12th grader from Nashville, TN. Her top three passions are running, food, and computer science (in no particular order). She has worked at Vanderbilt's Institute for Software Integrated Systems since her sophomore year. Her projects focus on NetsBlox, an online visual programming environment developed to make coding more accessible for young students. Her current project is to integrate paleoclimatic data into the NetsBlox server using role procedure calls (RPCs) so that users can access that data easily. Mohini also likes to code for fun on the side. She's written a Python code to help her organize her finances (her income source is solely babysitting) and is currently writing an app in Android Studio. Next year, she will go to college and hopes to major in CS. Her dream job is to be a software engineer.
