Erin is a senior at Pelham Memorial High School in Pelham, New York. Erin has been a part of her school's Computer Science Club for all four years of high school and has been the president of the club for the past three years. Since all the other members had graduated after her first year, she stepped up to the challenge of running the club and recruiting new members. She has taught her peers different coding languages such as Python, Java, and HTML. Erin enjoys teaching in this club and loves being surrounded by students with similar interests. Erin recently joined her school's Robotics Club and is enjoying creating her own robot. She has also taken classes in Java and Robotics at her school. Erin was recognized at her school for her involvement in technology and was chosen to be a part of a committee to select her school's new Director of Technology. She is also in the New York State Math and Science Honor Societies as well as National Honor Society. Erin enjoys learning new ways to code and also likes to work with Arduino and create new robots. Outside of technology, Erin has a black belt in Taekwondo and enjoys juggling. She plays the double bass in her school's orchestra and is a self-taught ukulele player. She also received the Gold Presidential Award for Community Service. Erin plans to attend college and study Computer Engineering; her goal is to someday work in the field of Robotics. In the coming years Erin wants to pursue her interests by taking classes and joining clubs related to Robotics.
